Kyle Loranger BFA, MGDC,
Creative Director
Since opening his studio in 1994, Kyle has worked with hundreds of clients to deliver elegant and impactful communications. From logos to advertising, publications to websites, he has delighted his clients with the clarity he brings to every meeting, and knowing just what to do to make a message more powerful.
As a designer with huge curiosity, being a studio principal has given him endless opportunities to go behind the scenes in all kinds of businesses and see how the world really works. His most gratifying moments in business have been seeing clients benefit from his designs and advice.
Kyle graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine
Arts, and is a Certified Graphic Designer (CGD). He and his wife Leanne have
two growing boys and a basement covered in Lego.
Lauren Conolly, Designer
Lauren graduated from MacEwan’s design program in 2007 and has quickly picked up publication design experience working for See Magazine and packaging design experience working for an Edmonton ad agency.
Since joining KLD in 2010, Lauren has proven herself to be a detail oriented, super-reliable designer working on identities, brochures and complex print design projects.
Lauren grew up in Morinville, but now lives on Edmonton’s
southside with her fiance and two really big dogs.
Lisa Todd, Account Manager
Lisa comes to Kyle Loranger Design after spending 8 years as a Key Account Manager at Company's Coming Publishing. Prior to that, she spent 7 years with Coast Paper working out of the Edmonton and Calgary offices where she was rep for the advertising, graphic design and print communities. This was when she first met Kyle! Whether she is strategizing ways of achieving multi-million dollar budgets or guiding start up companies through their initial logo development, her attention to detail and creative problem solving skills allow her to guide clients through projects effortlessly. Lisa attended the University of Alberta and graduated from MacEwan's Design program.
Lisa and her husband have 2 young-Harry-Potter-obsessed daughters, a big old
deaf dog and a loud cat who wakes them daily at 6 am to be fed.
Teresa Wang, Senior Designer
Teresa comes to KLD after a successful 11 year career as Intuit Canada’s print designer where she managed complex packaging and print projects for major software releases. Teresa’s eye for detail is amazing and her technical skills for print design are second to none.
Teresa was born in Taiwan, grew up in Hong Kong, but finished her university education in Colombia, South America (!) where she received her design training and first design jobs. She then emigrated to Canada with her family in 1996. In her off hours, she pursues her hobbies of soap-making, pottery and jewelry design. She’s also a kick-ass salsa dancer.
