Full Time Web Designer / Developer

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 / yr
Starting: Candidate should be available to start 2 weeks from the job offer.
Vision:
We have a vision at KLD to make the development process for websites as pleasant as possible for our clients, giving them highly functional, easy to maintain sites.
We are developing
a series of services based on the Adobe Business Catalyst platform
and are looking for a big-thinking web designer who can play
a key role in not only designing individual sites, but in helping
develop the templates and systems to roll out beautiful sites
efficiently.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with our Account Manager on assessing needs and suggesting solutions for clients
- Design beautiful web interfaces (using CS4 Suite)
- Program sites as required: Develop clean, smartly organized HTML and CSS, integrate various JS modules, test functionality
- Ongoing template and feature developing in our system
Required Experience / Background:
- Four years designing and developing web sites
- Have post-secondary degree or diploma in design or communications
- A love of all things web and social media, have a burning desire to create great web experiences
- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working with CMS systems
- Attributes: Energetic, self-starter, highly organized. Comfortable working in a small office
